Afterwater dismantles circulating materials on the internet such as industrial promotional videos, AI-generated footage, ASMR, and so-called oddly satisfying clips, and reassembles them into a hybrid landscape. Beneath the polished surfaces of speculative futures presented by the tech industry and the diffuse networks, the material time that has persisted for billions of years seeps into the invisible layers of these images and settles as a slow sediment.
